The Players Network

The Players Network (TPN) is a platform built by players, for players, the global home for women's professional football. It connects athletes with clubs and agents, provides verified player profiles, crowdsourced club/agent reviews, a resource hub, and a global player community, addressing the fragmented pathways and lack of trustworthy information that players face at every level of the game: pro, semi-pro, and college.

I work part-time as a software engineer on TPN, contributing full-stack features built with Django, Django REST Framework, and Python on the backend, and React, TypeScript, and Vite on the frontend, alongside playing professional football myself. Being a player using the same kind of platform I'm building gives me a direct, practical view into what actually matters to the people TPN serves.

I've built and shipped REST API endpoints and Django Admin tooling for non-technical founders to manage the platform, and developed frontend features in React and TypeScript, including data-fetching and UI work with TanStack Query. I write backend and frontend tests alongside feature work, using pytest and Playwright within a CI-gated workflow built on Ruff, ESLint, and GitHub Actions, and work within a spec-and-issue-first development process, contributing to behavior specs before implementation.

You can find the platform here.
